Government Cracking Down On Drunk Driving

Drunken drivers willing to spend the night in jail without taking a breathalyzer might not have that option anymore.  The government is urging states and local authorities to use polices that crack down on suspected drunken drivers.

The Transportation Secretary is promoting a no refusal policy around the nation.  It allows police to get a search warrant to take blood samples from suspected drunken drivers refusing to take a breathalyzer.  Right now, 'no refusal' initiatives exist in nine states, including Texas.
