One World War II veteran was honored Tuesday in Wichita Falls as one of the Greatest Generation Recipients.
Robert "Bob" Fenn was drafted to the war in 1941.
After D-Day he was sent to the Logistic and Administration unit.
There he was required to send soldiers to the front lines.
Fenn says despite receiving the award, he was just one of many serving our country.
"I was just one of millions. I was there. I was no hero. I just did what I was told to do," said Fenn.
A Mississippi native, Fenn is married to his wife Elizabeth. They have two daughters, Cynthia and Sandra.
Fenn says one of his best memories from serving is when he passed the Statue of Liberty after the war was over and saw hundreds of Americans waving and cheering him home.
