One Texoma family received an early Christmas today thanks to the Monterey Care Center.
Abraham Torres and his two kids, McKenzie and Eric, received money, food and clothes along with gifts to unwrap.
Center Administrator Christine Martin says it's occasions like these that really give the true meaning of Christmas.
"This is what Christmas is about. It's helping others in times of need without thinking about all the things we might want," said Martin.
The Torres family was adopted by the center.
The money gathered for their Christmas gifts were provided by the staff of the center along with family members of the center's residents.
