Number Of Police Officers Who Have Died In The Line Of Duty Up

The number of police officers who have died in the line of duty has jumped 37% in a year.

The new information was released by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
They show a 160 officers have died that's up from a 117 in 2009.
59 officers were killed by gunfire in 2010 while 73 officers died in traffic incidents.

The report comes out the same day a Georgia state trooper was shot and killed after trying to pull over a driver.
