Officials in Archer City are discussing a ban on synthetic substance K2. Several cities throughout Texoma have already banned the product, and Archer City is considering the same action after discussing the effects of K2 and its possible impact on the community. This comes on the heels of a massive bust of K2 in Archer City just two weeks ago. While the substance is legal there, police say they were able to impound the vehicle, K2 and arrest the drivers because they found a small amount of marijuana in the car. 18-year-old Christopher Ellis Jr. from Archer City, along with 18-year-old Michael Morris of Oklahoma were arrested for that bust. A 15-year-old juvenile was also on the scene. She was released to her parents.
