'Pack The House Night' Not In Favor of Wildcats

Reported by: Charlie Bartlett

5,465 fans all over Texoma showed up for 'Pack the House Night' at the Kay Yeager Coliseum, but the Wichita Falls Wildcats didn't. They couldn't get the packed house a win.

Wildcats lost their first meeting of the season against the Fresno Monsters 4-1 in front of the home crowd.

Wichita Falls got Wildcat fans going in the first period with a Mikhail Sentyurin goal, giving the Wildcats the 1-0 lead, but that's where the excitement ended.

Fresno answered right back with two goals in the 1st period for the 2-1 lead. The Monsters got two more in the 3rd period, giving them the 4-1 lead and the win.

Wildcats went 1-4 on the powerplay with only 28 total shots on goal.
