The Wichita Falls Wildcats got their much needed redemption over the Fresno Monsters winning 5-3 at the Kay Yeager Coliseum Friday night.

In the first game of their double-header, Fresno stole the show defeating the Wildcats 4-1 on 'Pack the House Night,' but the Cats weren't going to let the Monsters leave town with the sweep.

Wildcats trailed 2-1 into the second period, but they started to claw back into the game. Jason McAloon got ahold of a loose puck for the unassisted short-handed goal, tying the game at two a piece.

Then it was Drew Allen's turn. Allen gave the Wildcats the turnaround goal, giving the Wildcats the 3-2 lead, but the Cats weren't done yet.

They scored two more goals in the third period from Mikhail Sentyurin.

With the win, Wildcats end their three game losing streak. They're now 17-15-3 on the season,

Wichita Falls next game is Friday against their rival, the Texas Tornado.
