A Henrietta fire fighter is back on the job after being taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. Henrietta Mayor Tom Griffin told Newschannel 6 on Sunday that the firefighter was treated and released from Clay County Memorial Hospital. He was back on the scene of the fire before it was out.
That fire destroyed a home on Saturday evening around 5:30. There were people in the home when it was burning but all made it out safely. The American Red Cross is assisting those who were left without a home.
Mayor Griffin also told us today that the cause of that fire is still under investigation. Stay with Newschannel 6 and Newschannel6now.com for the very latest as we continue to follow this investigation.
