Millions in Tax Returns to Inmates

Inmates have fleeced U.S. taxpayers for $123-million since 2004 by filing fraudulent tax returns from behind bars.

A Senator out of Ohio highlighted the problem Sunday.

The Senator along with other lawmakers, have sent a letter to the IRS and Federal Bureau of Prisons, demanding that they immediately crack down on such filings and begin sharing information, as required by Congress in 2008.
