FBI Offering Reward For Information On MLK Parade Bomb

Federal agents are looking into the motive behind the planting of a bomb in a backpack along the route of Monday's Martin Luther King Day parade in Spokane, Wash.

The FBI said the bomb was powerful enough to do serious damage and kill, but three city officials spotted it and told police before the parade started.

The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for any information about the bomb.

The Spokane region has had numerous incidents of anti-government and white supremacist activity over the past three decades.
