Man cleared of one count, still facing another

Wichita Falls Police say Charles Williams is cleared from one criminal count after he was suspected of trying to run over a store clerk with his car. Williams was taken into police custody last August. Williams is accused of destroying property at a convenience store on 9th and Kemp.
Police say Williams then tried to run over the clerk with his car before leading them on a chase.
He is clear of one count Aggravated Assault, but, he still faces charges of Criminal Mischief and Resisting Arrest.
