Ford Recalls 400,000 Minivans

Ford Motor Company has issued a recall.

The automaker needs to repair 425,288 Windstar minivans from 1999 to 2003. Now these that are needed fixed were either sold or registered in 22 cold-weather states and Washington D.C.

The company says the brackets and mounts needing fixed could separate from the vehicles subframe and cause a driver to lose control of the vehicle.

A deadly accident has been linked the problem.

The recall is limited to states where road salt is used.
