Senate Candidate Stops In Wichita Falls

The only woman to announce her candidacy for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison's seat so far met with students at Midwestern State University.

Texas Railroad Commissioner Elizabeth Jones made a stop in Wichita Falls on her 14-city announcement tour. She spoke at MSU's Clark Student Center where she said the federal government is out of control and she wants to teach congress to handle its business as Texas does.

Jones told Newschannel 6, "We're going to see a revitalization of this country like we've never seen before. I'm excited to be a new breed on conservative for Texas."
