Texoma Woman Accused Of Robbing TJ Maxx

Wichita Falls police put a suspected thief behind bars. Police said Tykeisha Manuel, 18, robbed TJ Maxx and threatened a loss prevention officer with a knife. Police were dispatched to the store on Monday January 17th.

A loss prevention officer with the store stated that he saw two black females enter the store and begin to tear price tags from men's shirts and proceed to conceal these shirts down the front of their pants. The loss prevention officer then went outside to wait on them to exit the store. Both females left the store without making any attempt to pay for the concealed items.

LPO attempted to get the females to re-enter the store and return the items. They refused and attempted to flee. LPO got into a struggle with the suspects. The LPO said that both suspects then fled to a red car.

The LPO was able to positively identify Manuel involved in the aggravated robbery. Officers are still investigating a possible second suspect.
