WDS Global Holds Another Job Fair

More jobs are opening up at the WDS Global call center in Wichita Falls.

The company held another job fair at the call center on Airport Rd. Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Company officials said they already employ around 500 people and would like to add around 250 more. The latest round of hiring will involve only customer care agent positions. Officials said the company will hold two 60-person training classes by June.

Kath Rios, the Human Resources Supervisor for WDS Global, said they may hold additional job fairs if the company doesn't fill all those positions.

Since the 1950's the Wichita County Mounted Patrol Rodeo brought in crowds from all across Texoma. After unexpectedly shutting down in 2011 due to financial issues it is coming back and better than ever. Former Steer Wrestling World Champion Mickey Gee told me there is nothing better than a Texas rodeo. The Wichita county native spent many years attending the WCMP Rodeo with his father and knew when the gates closed in 2011 he had to do something to bring it back.
