High School Soccer: Winter Cup Day 2

The 2011 Winter Cup Boys Soccer Tournament didn't live up to the name because of the warm weather here in Texoma, but the action did.

Rider High School

The #2 Rider Raiders finished the tournament with a perfect record at 3-0-1. They beat the Mansfield Timberview Wolves in their pool championship game 2-0.

Ruben Flores scored both of the Raiders' goals in the title game. He finished the tournament with 6 goals.

Wichita Falls High School

The Wichita Falls Wildcats ended the Winter Cup tournament on a good note. They shut out Copperas Cove 5-0 in the second place game of their pool.

They scored one goal in the first half, but got four more in the second.
