Wichita Falls Wildcats Sweep New Mexico

Wildcats did some major cleaning with the broom this weekend.

Saturday night at the Kay Yeager Coliseum, the Wildcats defeated the New Mexico Mustangs 2-1, earning the weekend sweep. Their first since their two game home series with the Corpus Christi Ice Rays back on October 30th.

The Mustangs led after the first period, but the Cats clawed right back when they needed it. They got one goal in the second period from Nick Marsh and one in the third from Dakota Kleecha.

The Wildcats are now 19-18-4 on the season. Their next game is Friday at home in a two-game series with their in-state rival, the Texas Tornado.
