Wichita Falls Vipers Lose 1st Hunger Bowl

Reported by: Charlie Bartlett

It came down to the last play.

The Wichita Falls Vipers were defeated by the Weatherford Bullets on a 35yd field goal with no time remaining on the clock, giving them the 25-22 win over the 2010 reigning MPFL National Champions in the 1st Hunger Bowl at Memorial Stadium

The Vipers lead nine nothing in a very defensive first half showing, but couldn't hold onto their lead as the Bullets outscored them 25-13 in the second half.

Even they couldn't get the victory in this exhibition friendly game, they were able to collect plenty of canned goods benefiting the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.
