Mexico And Texas Share Power

Mexico plans to help the Lone Star state by providing a little power.

Right now Texas is under state wide emergency due to high demand for electricity.

Mexico's Federal Electricity commission said it agreed to transmit a certain amount of electricity to Texas Wednesday night.

The commission said the electricity will be transmitted at interconnection points in Nuevo Laredo which is across the border from Laredo.

Also between Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras.

Rolling blackouts were issued across Texas Wednesday and there's a chance for them on Thursday.
