Wildcats Streaking, Win 4th Straight Game

Reported by: Charlie Bartlett

The Wichita Falls Wildcats are heating up!

They were cold for a while, losing seven out of eight games, but things are turning around for the better.

Monday night at the Kay Yeager Coliseum, the Wildcats got their 4th straight win defeating the Amarillo Bulls in overtime 4-3. Tanner Fahlstedt scored the game-winner for the Cats in the second minute of OT.

Amarillo entered the third period with a 3-1 lead, but the Cats didn't let the pressure get to them. They rallied back to tie the game at 3-3, getting goals from Dakota Klecha and Ryan Frost.

Even though Fahlstedt won the game for the Wildcats, there were plenty of others who made big impacts for the thrilling win. Ryan Frost scored two goals while Dakota Klecha added one and on the assist for Fahlstedt's goal.

With the win, The Wildcats are 21-18-4. They're currently 4th in the NAHL South Division with 46 points.

They'll meet the Bulls for a rematch Friday (February 11th, 2001) at the Kay Yeager Coliseum.

Face off set for 7:05 PM
