Graham Edges Iowa Park for 2nd Playoff Spot

Iowa Park's girls started district play slow but have come on lately. Graham started fast but has faded. The two teams seemingly going in opposite directions met up in Olney Friday night.

They were playing to decide who would get the 2nd seed in District 6-3A behind 1st-place Burkburnett.

Sadie Dickinson scored 17 points to lead the Lady Blues to a 49-33 win over the Lady Hawks.

Bonni Peeks and E.J. Glidewell each scored 11 for Graham (6-5 in District), who will face Snyder Tuesday night at 6:30 in Breckenridge in the Bi-District playoffs.

Amanda Fuhrman scored 11 to lead the Lady Hawks (5-6 in District), who will also play Tuesday night in Breckenridge, against Brownwood at 8 PM.

Wichita Christian, Notre Dame to Play-Off Monday

The Wichita Christian Stars came up just short against Plainview Christian Friday night in a chance to lock up the 3rd seed in TAPPS District 1-A. Christian Thomason scored 22 for the Stars, but they fell 52-50.

The Knights scored a 62-50 road win at Lubbock Christ the King, so both teams finish the year 5-5 in District, with the head-to-head meetings split.

The two will meet Monday night at 6 PM at Notre Dame to decide who gets the 3rd spot and who gets 4th place.

Lady Stars Fall to Plainview Christian

The Wichita Christian Lady Stars got 12 points from Chelsea Studdard and 11 from Mattie McGee, but it wasn't enough in a 47-40 loss at home against Plainview Christian.

The loss leaves the Lady Stars tied with Lubbock Kingdom Prep for the final playoff spot in the district, so they will play a play-in game Tuesday night in Guthrie at 6 PM.

10-A: Archer City Defeats Windthorst

The Archer City Wildcats kept up their march toward the playoffs with a 66-48 win on Senior Day against Windthorst Friday night.

Cole Sitz led the way for the Wildcats with 31 points, making eight three-point shots.

Petrolia Boys Defeat Electra

The Petrolia Pirates defeated Electra at home Friday night 53-45 to even their record at 5-5 in district play.

Bryce Tucker scored 20 for the Pirates.
