4A Basketball: Rider, WFHS Suffer Tough Losses

The Rider Raiders held their senior night Friday, honoring seniors Brodie Scott, Richard Mead, Christian Sager, Gates Richardson and Hayden Andree.

But they couldn't send their seniors off with a win, falling 52-39 to Little Elm.

Junior Zach Dickey scored a team-high 14 points, while Sager and Matt Temple each added eight.

J.T. Barrett chipped in seven points, five of them in the first quarter.

Rider will close out the season Tuesday night at Lake Dallas.

WFHS Falls at The Colony

Jared Frank led the Wichita Falls High School Coyotes with 10 points in a 79-44 loss at The Colony.

The loss drops WFHS to 6-5 in District play, while The Colony solidifies their hold on second place at 8-2, with their only losses coming against #23 Denton Ryan.

The Coyotes wrap up the regular season Tuesday night at home against Denton (1-10).
