Fire Destroys 6th St. Home

A house fire ripped through a 6th St. home in Wichita Falls Saturday evening.

The Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to blaze in the 1900 block of 6th St. around 6:30 p.m. Officials from the American Red Cross said the home was a total loss. They were helping the family find a place to stay.

Fire investigators said the cause of the blaze is under investigation. There were no reported injuries.
