Notre Dame Boys Defeat Wichita Christian, Claim 3rd Spot

Wichita Christian and Notre Dame's boys teams split a pair of meetings this season, each team winning on its home floor.

Monday night that trend held to form as the Knights beat the Stars 67-50 at home to win a tiebreak for the 3rd playoff spot in TAPPS District 1-A.

Sophomore Cobi Niedzwiecki scored a career-high 41 points to lead the Knights, while freshman Cody McElroy added 18 more. The two combined for 59 of the team's 67 points on the night.

The Knights will take on Granbury Happy Hill Farm Academy Thursday night at 7:30 in Granbury in a TAPPS Bi-District playoff game.

Wichita Christian will face the 2nd place team from District 2-A Tuesday night at the other team's gym.
