Murder Trial Continues For A Man Accused Of Killing His Wife

Trial continues for a man accused of killing his estranged wife.

Charles Stobaugh is facing a First Degree Murder charge in Denton County.

Officials say he is responsible for the death of his wife Kathy Stobaugh. Kathy was a teacher in Nocona.

Stobaugh's 23 year old daughter testified as a defense witness on Monday.

She told the jurors that she didn't report her mother missing for five days because she thought her mother might be with another man.

The daughter lived with father at the time of Kathy's disappearance.

Jurors watched a family movie from a Stobaugh family vacation to the Grand Canyon in 2002.

Defense also showed jury a video taken by Kathy without the knowledge of Charles. Video shows Kathy telling Charles that their daughter wrecked the car and that she would lose the right to drive.

We'll continue to follow this trial and bring you the very latest.
