MSU Sets New Record In Enrollment For Spring Semester

Midwestern State University sets a new record in enrollment for Spring.

MSU now has a total of 6,091 students this Spring semester.

The new enrollment is a 0.58% increase compared to Spring 2010.

Of the students enrolled this Spring, 67% are full-time students.

"We feel good about our recruitment and retention efforts despite having a large graduating class in December," stated Dr. Robert E. Clark, Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness. "We are delighted to see the increase in enrollment and more students committing to full-time studies."

The senior classification showed the largest gain of students at 101, and the junior classification had an increase of 58. Total semester credit hours are shown at 68,997, also up 2.04 percent over last spring's figures.
