Rider Girls Fall to Frenship in Playoffs

The Rider Lady Raiders waited 20 years for a playoff basketball game, but they'll have to wait at least another year for a playoff win.

They went ice cold up in Childress, falling to Wolfforth Frenship 48-27 to end their season.

The Lady Raiders trailed 16-8 at halftime, and the Lady Tigers kept pulling away in the second half.

Rider finished the season 24-8, setting a school record for wins.

After the game, first-year Head Coach Ramsey Ghazal credited his seniors for breaking through in clinching a playoff spot, and laying the framework for future Rider teams.
