It was a rough night for most of Texoma's High School basketball teams in playoff action.
Only three teams advanced past the Bi-District round Tuesday night: Windthorst, Quanah and Knox City.
The Trojanettes edged Stamford 54-53 in Breckenridge, Quanah beat Ralls 57-49 in Amarillo, and Knox City knocked out Woodson 52-27 in Seymour.
Rider lost to Frenship in Childress, Graham (53-48 to Snyder) and Iowa Park (60-27 to #19 Brownwood) both lost in Bi-District play at Breckenridge High School, and Vernon Northside was blown out by Aspermont 87-29 after the Knox City/Woodson game in Seymour.
Several Texoma teams sat out the Bi-District round with byes.
Burkburnett (20-6), Petrolia (24-5), Crowell (17-9), Throckmorton (24-4) and Newcastle (27-4) all won their districts and earned first-round byes.
Wichita Christian's boys also played a TAPPS Bi-District playoff game at Dallas Tyler Street Christian Academy, and fell 79-36, ending their season. Billy Iseman led the way with 17 points.
The Stars had just played the night before, losing at Notre Dame.
