WFHS Lady Coyotes Shut Out Hirschi 6-0

All four of Texoma's soccer-playing high schools were paired up Tuesday night, with Wichita Falls HS facing Hirschi and Rider facing Burkburnett.

The Lady Coyotes faced Hirschi at Memorial Stadium Tuesday afternoon, scoring five first-half goals en route to a 6-0 win.

Cassidy Beer scored twice, as did Sierra Anderson. Payton Fookes had a goal and three assists for the Lady Coyotes, who improved to 14-1 on the season.

WFHS Boys Edge Hirschi

The Coyotes faced the Huskies after the girls' game was finished, and Old High got a 3-2 win over Hirschi. Carlos Hernandez had a goal and an assist for WFHS, while Patrick Stevens and Jose Lugo each scored a goal.

The Coyotes improved to 10-0-4 for the year. Friday night they will visit Decatur at 7 PM, while the Lady Coyotes will host the Lady Eagles at McNiel Field.

Rider Boys Beat Burkburnett

The Rider Raiders improved to 11-2-2 with a 3-0 win at Bulldog Stadium in Burkburnett Tuesday night.

Sawyer Horton scored twice for the Raiders, while Nicholas Novak also scored for Rider.

The Raiders will face Hirschi Friday night at Memorial Stadium at 7 PM.

Rider Girls Win, Too

The Rider Lady Raiders defeated Burkburnett 5-0 Tuesday night at McNiel Junior High Field.

The win improves Rider's record to 12-3-2, heading into their game Friday night against Hirschi at 5 PM at Memorial Stadium.
