Wichita Falls is trying to spread the city brand across Texas with a new technique, placing a city logo with the website "choosewichitafalls.com" on five white WFISD activity buses used for UIL and sporting events requiring travel. The city hopes to grab the attention of travelers and give them the opportunity to take a look at Wichita Falls.
Vice-President of Community Wide Marketing Carla Bolin told us, "the new website is a great website for what to do here, what events go on here as well as advice for relocating and visiting."
The advertisement will be vinyl and the cost is $1,300 per bus, paid for by community contributions. The due date is set to finish before Spring Break.
