Man Indicted For Breaking Into An Officer's Home

A man accused of breaking into a police officer's home is being indicted on several charges.

Jacob Knight Winters was indicted on three counts of Theft of Property, one count of Burglary of a Habitation, and two counts of Credit Card Abuse.

Burkburnett police said they were dispatched to a home in the 900 block of Coulter. The home belonged to a Burk police lieutenant.

Police said Winters was caught in the garage of the officer's home and led police on a short chase before he was arrested. Click here to read more about Winters arrest.
