Dog Causes Crash on Kemp

A loose dog caused a crash on Kemp Blvd. Saturday afternoon, sending one woman to the hospital.

Police said the woman slammed on her brakes when a small dog ran in front of her car around 4:15 p.m. The truck driving behind her didn't stop in time and slammed into her car.

The woman was taken to United Regional Hospital with unknown injuries. A passenger in her car was also advised to go to the hospital to be checked out.
