One Nation Under God Rally

Men and women gathered Sunday afternoon at the Wichita County Courthouse to say a prayer. It's the second annual "One Nation Under God" rally. About 100 people turned out for the event. Organizers say the concept is to pray for God's guidance for the United States and its leaders.

Joseph Clement, the organizer, told NewsChannel 6, "We pray to God and we bring to him our needs. The needs of our Nation our state our local communities and our world."

Last year about 300 people came to the event. Organizers say they hope it continues to grow. They want to hold more of the prayer groups in the coming months and eventually once every quarter.
