Castaway Cove Looking For Lifeguards

Castaway Cove Water park is looking for 100 lifeguards to work this summer.
They will be holding two information sessions to explain all about the job. The first is this Saturday March 5, at 9 AM, the second session is on March 10 at 6:30 PM. Both sessions will be at the Downtown YMCA and both teens and parents are invited to come.

Individuals interested in becoming a lifeguard must be at least 16 years of age, participate in a week long training class (held in evenings and on Sunday) and pass a lifeguard certification test as administered by Starfish Aquatics Institute, an international water park lifeguard training company to determine if applicants are qualified.  The first training class will begin March 28.  Applications can be downloaded from Castaway Cove Water park or available at the water park's office which is open from Monday through Friday, 9 AM until 5 PM, phone (940) 322-5500.
