Drug Possession Arrest Made During Investigation

A Wichita County Sheriff's Office Deputy stopped to help an Electra police officer in a theft investigation, only to make a possession arrest shortly after.

The deputy was helping in an anhydrous ammonia theft investigation yesterday at the intersection of HWY 25, and FM 240 when he said he noticed a vehicle driving slowly.

Ronald Cox,50, was then placed under arrest.

The deputy said Cox is charged with Possession of Certain Chemicals with the Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine.
