District 4-4A Names Boys First Team Selections

The Wichita Falls High School Coyote basketball team pulled together to make the playoffs this year, and they got some individual recognition Wednesday on the All-District 4-4A team.

Guards Bubba Mathis and Devontay Chaffin, who led an under-sized Coyote team from the backcourt, both were selected to the First Team.

They're joined there by Rider senior Christian Sager, who took a somewhat reduced role this year but still played well for the Raiders.

The second team features Old High's D.J. Jordan, while Coyote Danail Wilkens and Raider J.T. Barrett made the all-defensive team, which features players that were not previously honored this year.
