UPDATE:Funeral Arraignments Made For Five Month Old

Funeral services have been arranged for a five-month-old baby boy found dead on Amber Avenue.

Owens and Brumley funeral home confirms visitation services will be Tuesday evening. The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m.

The Wichita Falls Police Department is still investigating the death of the baby.

Police say the 19 year-old mother called 911 Wednesday afternoon reporting her baby was not breathing.

Police said when they arrived at the house on Amber Avenue the baby was already dead.

Officers called the juvenile unit of the criminal investigative section to the scene and police wrote up a case for injury to a child, meaning they are investigating the parents as possible suspects.

The father is 18 years-old.

The teen parents told officers they put their son down at 11p.m. the night before, checked on him at 3 a.m., then went to bed.

They said they woke up at 2:30p.m. and that's when they found the baby not breathing.

No arrests have been made.

The baby has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
