UPDATE:Couple Arrested In Wichita Co. Drug Bust

Thursday morning the Wichita County Sheriff deputies were serving a warrant in the 4700 block of Jacksboro Highway when they smelled a strong odor of ether.

They returned with a search warrant on the suspicion of the existence of a controlled substance.

Deputies found methamphetamine and equipment used to make meth on the premises. Deputies seized 2,641 grams of liquid meth, valued at $127,613.

A 35 year old female and a 50 year old male were taken into custody on Outstanding Bond Forfeiture warrants.

The two face charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a drug free zone, due to the homes proximity to Wichita Christian School and a child care facility.
