A fire is still raging in Jack County.  Officials with the Forest Service say about 70 percent is contained and they are continuing their efforts to control it.

The total acreage burned is 7,555, there are no reported injuries, and at least six residential properties have been destroyed.  Local, state, and federal agencies are all helping and they will continue to stay out there for the coming days to make sure it does not spark up again.  Officials say the fire started from a power line that sparked along Eason road and FM 4 on Friday.  We'll continue to update you as new information come in.
