La Donna Place Stairwell Catches Fire

Residents of La Donna Place Apartments had a rude awakening Saturday afternoon when seven Wichita Falls fire units responded to a fire.

Officials say something on a staircase caused the fire that damaged $4,000 to $5,000 worth of damage.

Almost all of the damage came from the exterior, but one apartment did receive some casualty.

We are waiting for more information on how the stairwell caught fire---when we get that update we'll let you know.
