Texoma Man Given 80 Years For Sexual Assault

A man charged with multiple counts of continuous sexual assault and abuse of three teens has been sentenced to a total of 80 years behind bars.

40-year-old Bobby Lewis was found guilty Thursday, March 17th and sentenced the next day. Lewis was given 10 years on the charge of sexual assault of a child, 30 years for continuous sexual abuse of a child, and 40 years on another charge of continuous sexual assault of a child. The judge has ordered the sentences stacked, and Lewis must service at least 40 years before he is eligible for parole.

Lewis was placed under arrest January 20, 2010. Clay County officials say Lewis sexually assaulted three teenage girls over the course of at least a year. District Attorney Jack McGaughey said the victims were 12 to 13 at the time of the alleged offenses. An investigation began after one of the girls told her mother.
