Second Crowell Teen Passes Away From Car Accident

A second Crowell teenage has died as the result of a vehicle accident. The accident happened on March 5th in Crowell. Gracie Rodriguez, 17, was taken off life support Tuesday evening at United Regional.

The accident also claimed the life of Matthew Baker, 18. Erika Hopper, 17, was discharged a few days ago. A 16 year old girl remains in serious condition.

Department of Public Safety said the driver of a Chevy Suburban lost control and rolled several times, coming to a rest upright in a ditch.

Funeral services for Gracie Rodriguez will be held Monday, March 21st at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Crowell. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Womack Manard Funeral Home‎, 104 E Marietta St Crowell, TX.
