Grass Fire in Clay County Under Control

Update: Paul Harrop reports from the scene that the fire is under control. Texas Forestry Service is on-scene with the "bulldozer brigade," which have cleared out a line to help contain the fire.

Our crews are headed to the scene of a possible grass fire reported on FM 1740 near Linville Road. This is east of Thornberry and southwest of Charlie in Northern Clay County. Dispatch calls started coming in around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
