Three-Alarm Fire Burns Houston Retirement Community

More than 200 residents were evacuated after their nursing home caught fire Monday afternoon in Houston.

Firefighters were called to the Treemont Retirement Community.  Fire officials say it was a three-alarm blaze.  The fire started in the third-floor attic of one of the three buildings in the complex.

Several ambulances were sent to the scene to help evacuate elderly residents.  No residents were injured but one firefighter was taken to a hospital after complaining of chest pains.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
