K-9 Clinic in Wichita County

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office played host to hundreds of canines Tuesday.

Dogs and crime departments from across the state joined together, at the former Stanley Building on Production Boulevard, for a K-9 clinic.

We spoke with the President for Region 25, about the clinic, and he expressed just how tight the bonds between team members and dogs can create a better product.

"We have to understand our dogs and the more training we get to do with our dogs the better we become as a team, because not only do we understand the dog, the dog understands us and we build a bond and we work well as a team versus as individuals." said Region 25, U.S. Police K-9 Association, Brian Hintz.

18 K-9 units from 14 law enforcement agencies across Texas attended the clinic.
