Softball: #24 Petrolia Beats #5 Windthorst 12-1

The Windthorst Trojanettes played a pair of games Friday afternoon. First, they hosted Bryson in District 8-A action and took a 16-0 win.

Then, they played a non-district rivalry game against Petrolia, and the Lady Pirates got payback for an earlier loss with a 12-1 win.

Alaina Anderson was the two-way star for Petrolia, striking out ten Trojanettes in the circle while also going 5/5 from the plate.

Iowa Park Shuts Out Graham

The Iowa Park Lady Hawks stayed undefeated in District 6-3A with a 3-0 win over Graham.

Peyton Helton tossed a complete-game shutout, striking out ten Lady Blues to pick up the win.

The Lady Hawks will face Burkburnett Tuesday in a showdown for first place in the district.

Lady Coyotes Fall to Ryan

The Wichita Falls Lady Coyotes fell 20-3 at home to Denton Ryan Friday night.

Allison Graddy's triple was the offensive highlight for the Lady Coyotes, who will face their rivals, the #15 Rider Lady Raiders Tuesday night.

Holliday Beats Rival Henrietta

The Holliday Lady Eagles defeated rival Henrietta 13-6 Friday night in District 9-2A action.

The Lady Eagles will be at Nocona Tuesday night.
