Two People Facing Multiple Charges

Two people are behind bars, both facing several charges.

Wichita falls police tried to stop a 1999 Buick Century, Saturday morning but the driver kept going. Officers said eventually the driver fled from the vehicle, while it was still moving.

Police said the car hit a fence and another vehicle. Officers detained the three remaining occupants of the vehicle. Police arrested Pete Chapa, 44 and Janessa Ramos, 21. 

Chapa was charged with Parole violation/Possession of a controlled substance, Evading arrest/detention, Possession of a controlled substance, and Duty on striking unattended vehicle.

Ramos was charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, Possession of prohibited weapon, Possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams, Possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Between the two, police found 3.3 grams of methanphetamine, a switch blade knife, a glass pipe, packages of pseudoephederine, hydrocodone pills, morphine pills, marijuana.
