Late Night Fire Spreads Smoke And Flames

A late-night fire causes tons of smoke to fill the midnight air in Wichita Falls.

Fire officials say the fire broke out in a vacant home in the 500 block of Olen Street just after 12:30 am this morning.

Our crews were on the scene as seven fire units fought the flames. No known injuries were reported, but officials say the house is scheduled for demolition next week.

Investigators report there was evidence that the fire was intentionally set, but no suspects have been detained at this point. The fire is still under investigation.
