Texomans Clean The Highways & Parks

Citizens of Texoma cleaned up the highways and parks.

To honor the Adopt A Highway 26 year anniversary city volunteers made their way across the community, picking up trash, litter, anything they could to keep it clean.

Trash-off is the largest statewide wide clean up in the country.

"We really need to just take care of Texas and keep our highways beautiful.  So it's a great lesson for not just kids, but the adults too," said Cheyenne Friend.

Adopt A Highway now includes more than 4,500 groups across the state, all aimed at keeping the community clean and litter free.
