One Wichita Falls City Council Candidate was endorsed Monday night in her run for a council seat.
Annetta Pope was endorsed by the Wichita Falls Firefighter Association at the Police Training Center.
Pope is running for the district two seat in the May 14th municipal elections.
"To me being endorsed by the firefighters is a really great honor, because I think the firefighters represent all of Wichita Falls. They represent our neighbors and just to be endorsed by them is a great honor," said Pope.
Pope is a Rider High School graduate and spent 23 years serving in the Air Force.
Her last three years were at Sheppard Air Force Base.
